Today, nine of the participating countries of the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest are having their second rehearsal. These are Portugal, Ireland, Malta, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Georgia, Spain, and Poland.
In today’s rehearsal, the attending Press had the opportunity to watch the full rehearsals from these countries. Before we find out what happens in Italy’s rehearsal, let’s see how their first rehearsal went.
What happens during Elisabetta’s performance?
Elisabetta stands in the middle of the stage, and she is joined by four dancers. Elisabetta and her dancers maintain within the same vicinity throughout the performance. However, they make the performance impactful, through the usage of bright LED background with quick cuts, as well as the use of different camera angles.

Italy’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2014, Italy made its debut in the competition with Vincenzo Cantiello, and the song “Tu primo grande amore”, where it managed to win the competition. Since their debut, Italy has managed to participate in the competition a total of six times. Their recent participation was in 2019, with Marta Viola and “La voce della terra” which placed 7th, receiving 129 points from the jury and the online vote.
