Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest
In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest, when Edyta Górniak represented them with the song “To nie ja!”, She placed second, which has subsequently remained Poland’s best result to date. Poland has participated 23 times since and reached the Grand Final on 14 occasions. Michal Szpak’s 2016 entry “Colour of Your Life” earned one of Poland’s best results in recent years, and Szpak memorably placed 3rd in the televote and 8th overall.
Meanwhile, RAFAŁ represented Poland at Eurovision 2021 with “The Ride”; however, he did not qualify for the grand final, placing 14th in his semi-final with 35 points from the jury and televoters.
