There is way too much music released every month to cover in-depth, but here are some of the best and biggest new tracks from other Eurovision artists:

Circus Mircus – “Furore/Fiasco” (LP)

We all knew I’d put this album front and centre once it released, didn’t we? Took them long enough, although this album is more than worth the wait! 11 all-new tracks await, with only album opener “Up Is Down” and “Amerikis Khma” coming out as singles a mere week before the album. The Georgian art and music collective offers a wide variety of genres and moods, and is (obviously) my album of the month!

Anouk – “Deena & Jim” (LP)

Speaking of albums, Anouk released her also long-awaited “Deena & Jim” this month. The 12 track album is jam packed with beautiful, sweeping ballads about the ups and (mostly) downs of relationships, with all songs supported with a symphonic orchestra. It’s grand, it’s dramatic, it’s marvelous.

Novaa, Red Moon – “Leaning”

Now here is a bit of a deeper cut, but no less good. Novaa is a Berlin-based artist who just released a new album. And one of the album cuts is “Leaning,” featuring Red Moon. Those featured vocals will be familiar to Eurovision fans, as Red Moon is the name under which 2015 Norway representative Debrah Scarlett has been releasing music since 2020. “Leaning” is a beautiful soft electronic piece about, well, leaning on someone.

Ochman – “Testament” (LP)

Another artist, another album: OChman has finally collected his singles plus a handful of other songs into a 14 track, 42 minute long album called “Testament”. Included on the album are pre-released tracks “8ball“, “Rozmyty obraz“, “Bittersweet“, and “Bronia“. To celebrate the release, all new tracks got a visualizer, and title track “Testament” got the full music video treatment.

Senhit – “I Am What I Am”

Senhit is, to everyone’s delight, who she is on new single “I Am What I Am”. I guess the genre of this song could be best described as uplifting queer-disco-gospel, or something like that. Either way, it is utterly delightful and, while not necessarily her typical sound, undeniably Senhit.

S10 – “Mis”, “Alsof Het Weer Gister Is”, Kevin featuring S10 – “De Leven”

S10 is calling back to the classic A and B side with new single “Mis” (Miss. As in, the verb) is bundled together with second single “Alsof Het Weer Gister Is” (As If It Were Yesterday Again). “Mis” has a thumping house beat combined with some of the most gentle vocals S10 has offered in a while. Meanwhile, “Alsof” takes more hiphop influences as S10 sings about anxiety, and the strange contrasts that can create mentally. Musically I vibe more with “Mis”, but the emotional power of “Alsof” is not to be denied, what a track.

On top of these two homeruns, S10 also worked with Dutch rapper Kevin for his new song “De Leven” (The Life). On the track, she tackles the chorus singing about how she will enjoy this life, this moment, for as long as it is still there.

Go_A – “Dumala”

Go_A release a new track, and with that they show up here, especially as long as they keep making bangers like this. “Dumala” is the most energetic they’ve sounded in a while, with the powerful beat and Kateryna’s distinctive vocals once again creating an amazing song. “Dumala” is a fairy tale, told both through the lyrics and the music video, so instead of recounting it I will just let you enjoy this humdinger of a track.

SIRUSHO – “Ինձանից Ավել/Un Millon de Flores” ft. Victor Espinola

Now here is a collab that feels out of left field to say the very least. SIRUSHO represented Armenia in 2008 with “Qélé, Qélé”, and has released absolute tons of music since. Her latest track sees her work with Paraguayan multi-instrumentalist Víctor Espínola, renowned for his work with the Paraguayan harp, which he once again uses for this song. “Ինձանից Ավել/Un Millon de Flores” (More than me/A Million Flowers) is a mixture of cultures and visions, with both artists responsible for their own parts of the track, leading to a enchanting and unique song.

Júlí Heiðar, Greta Salóme, Bjarki Ómarsson – “Heimur þagnar”

Greta Salóme represented Iceland twice in Eurovision, getting robbed both times. Her latest single is the beautifully haunting folk track “Heimur þagnar” (A world of silence), which is a collab with Júlí Heiðar and Bjarki Ómarsson (presumably not the MMA fighter of the same name).

MELOVIN – “Один Не Один”

“Один Не Один” (One, Not Alone), Melovin sings on his new single. Latter-stages pop punk meets orchestral compositions in this excellent track that is full of energy, attitude, and hooks. Will his return to Vidbir sound similar? We will have to tune in to find out.
