As the year draws to a close, more and more countries continue to reveal if they are participating in Eurovision Young Musicians 2024. The next country to reveal if they are participating is Germany.
This will be Germany’s 19th participation
Germany’s participation in the 21st edition of the competition was revealed by WDR to Eurofestivales. At the time of writing, it is yet to reveal how they will be selecting their representative for next year’s competition.
What we know about Eurovision Young Musicians 2024
Earlier in the year, it has been revealed that Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the city of Bodø will be the hosts of the 21st edition of Eurovision Young Musicians, which will take place on Stromen Concert Hall on the 17th August 2024.
At the time of writing, the following countries have revealed their intention to participate
Germany’s Eurovision Young Musicians Journey
Germany made their debut in the inaugural edition Eurovision Young Musicians in 1982, which saw them have the first win of the competition. Since then, the country has participated in the competition 18 times, with their recent participation in the competition saw them being represented by Philipp Schupelius with the Cello, placing 2nd.
