As the year draws to a close, more and more countries continue to reveal if they are participating in Eurovision Young Musicians 2024. We have a non-participation confirmed, as Croatia reveals it will not be present at the next edition of the competition.
First withdrawal since Eurovision Young Musicians 2022
Croatia’s non-participation in the 21st edition of the competition was revealed by HRT to Eurofestivales. The broadcaster did not mention their reason for non-participation.
What we know about Eurovision Young Musicians 2024
Earlier in the year, it has been revealed that Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the city of Bodø will be the hosts of the 21st edition of Eurovision Young Musicians, which will take place on Stromen Concert Hall on the 17th August 2024.
At the time of writing, the following countries have revealed their intention to participate
Croatia’s Eurovision Young Musicians Journey
Croatia first debuted at Eurovision Young Musicians in 1994, and have participated 12 times in the competition. Their recent participation saw them being represented by Ivan Petrović-Poljak with the piano.
