As the year draws to a close, more and more countries continue to reveal if they are participating in Eurovision Young Musicians 2024. The next country to reveal if they are participating is Belgium.
This will be Belgium’s 11th participation
Belgium’s participation in the 21st edition of the competition was revealed by RTBF to Eurofestivales. At the time of writing, it is yet to reveal how they will be selecting their representative for next year’s competition.
What we know about Eurovision Young Musicians 2024
Earlier in the year, it has been revealed that Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the city of Bodø will be the hosts of the 21st edition of Eurovision Young Musicians, which will take place on Stromen Concert Hall on the 17th August 2024.
At the time of writing, the following countries have revealed their intention to participate
- Belgium
- Czechia
- France
- Norway (Host Country)
- Slovenia
Belgiums Eurovision Young Musicians Journey
Belgium made their debut in Eurovision Young Musicians in 1986. Since then, the country has participated in the competition 10 times, with their recent participation in the competition saw them being represented by Thaïs Defoort with the Cello.
