As the year starts, more countries continue to reveal if they are participating in Eurovision Young Musicians 2024. We have another non-participation confirmed, as Swiss broadcaster SRF reveals it will not be participating in this year’s competition for Switzerland.
Eighth consecutive non-participation for Switzerland
SRF’s non participation for Switzerland in the 21st edition of the competition was revealed by SRF to Eurofestivales. The broadcaster did not mention their reason for non-participation. With SRF not participating, RTS the French language broadcaster and RSI, the Italian language broadcaster is yet to reveal if they will be participating in the competition or not.
What we know about Eurovision Young Musicians 2024
Earlier in the year, it has been revealed that Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the city of Bodø will be the hosts of the 21st edition of Eurovision Young Musicians, which will take place on Stromen Concert Hall on the 17th August 2024.
