🇸🇪 Sweden to participate at Eurovision Young Musicians 2024

As the year draws to a close, more and more countries continue to reveal if they are participating in Eurovision Young Musicians 2024. The next country to reveal if they are participating is Sweden.

This will be Sweden’s 15th participation

Sweden’s participation in the 21st edition of the competition was revealed by SVT to Eurofestivales. At the time of writing, it is yet to reveal how they will be selecting their representative for next year’s competition.

What we know about Eurovision Young Musicians 2024

Earlier in the year, it has been revealed that Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the city of Bodø will be the hosts of the 21st edition of Eurovision Young Musicians, which will take place on Stromen Concert Hall on the 17th August 2024.

At the time of writing, the following countries have revealed their intention to participate

Sweden’s Eurovision Young Musicians Journey

Sweden made their debut in Eurovision Young Musicians in 1986, and have participated in the competition 14 times, and have won the competition once in 2006. Their recent participation saw them being represented by Lukas Flink with the Trombone.
