Natalia Gordienko will represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Sugar, which has been released today! Have a listen to her song here:
Natalia is no stranger to Eurovision – she previously represented Moldova in 2006 alongside Arsenium and Connect-R with the song Loca, which reached 20th in the grand final. Last year, she won Finala națională and was to represent Moldova with Prison before the contest’s cancellation.
She will perform in the first half of the second semi-final at the contest in May.
As a bonus, they sent out some very extra PR!
What do we think of the entry?
Jazzi – “Sugar” is an absolute bop it will surely get Moldova into the final again. This leads itself to crazy staging that will really stand out in Rotterdam!
Rory – This is by far and away the most Philip Kirkorov-handled song this year. The beat is heavy and filled with all things pop, and Natalia gives a great vocal performance. There’s a lot of potential here, but I’ll need to listen to it a few times to really see where it places in my rankings.
Has Natalia’s entry sweetened your appetite? What do you think of Moldova’s chances this year – could this be their first win? Let us know!
