The entries for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest continue to be released, this time its Georgia’s turn to release their entry. Georgia’s broadcaster GPB has announced that the official music video of Mariam Bigvava’s entry “I Believe” will be released today, November 8.
Music video to be released tonight
The official music video will premiere on Prime Time in Georgia at 21:00 (GST). The music video will also premiere on the official Junior Eurovision Song Contest Youtube Channel at 19:00CET, with the link below.
Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022
The 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Yerevan, following Malena’s win in the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with “Qami Qami“, with the competition set to take place on the 11th of December. The competing countries in this year’s competition are as follows:

- Armenia – Nare
- France – Lissandro
- Georgia – Mariam Bigvava
- Ireland – Sophie Lennon
- Italy – Chanel Dilecta
- Kazakhstan – David Charlin
- Malta – Gaia Gambuzza
- The Netherlands – Luna
- North Macedonia – Lara, Irina & Jovan
- Poland – Laura Bączkiewicz
- Portugal – Nicolas Alves
- Serbia – Katarina Savić
- Spain – Carlos Higes
- Ukraine – Zlata Dziunka
- United Kingdom – Freya Skye

Georgia’s Junior Eurovision Journey
Georgia is the most successful country to take part in Junior Eurovision, currently with three wins under their belt. The country joined the Junior Eurovision family in 2007 with Mariam Romelashvili sing “Odelia Ranuni”, finishing in 4th place. Georgia would go on to win the competition the following year, with Bzikebi’s “Bzz…”. Georgia would also win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 and 2016 respectively. Georgia also hosted the Contest in Tbilisi in 2017.
In 2021, Georgia was represented by Niko Kajaia and his song “Let’s Count the Smiles” in Paris. Once the combined scores were revealed, Georgia finished in 4th place – earning 163 points. The online vote gave Georgia 59 points, whilst professional juries awared 104 points to the country.
