The Winners
KALUSH – “Для душі” (EP)
KALUSH have been very busy in recent months with their KALUSHcollab project, but this month they treated us to some new work purely of their own. The “Для душі” (For the soul) EP is a 6 track affair that includes the previously released “До берега йду” and “А ти знала“. Of the four new songs, energetic opener “Тебе не попустить” (They won’t let you go) is the one that got the music video treatment. Lyrically, the track is a commentary on the “if I can’t have it, you can’t have it” mentality that many have. Between this powerful opening banger and relaxed retro bop closer “Маланюся” (Crying) there are multiple tracks with different vibes and sounds, giving a good overview of the musical journey the group has been on in the last year.
Måns Zelmerlöw x Ola Kędra – “Walk with me – Chodź ze mną”
Last time I wrote about Måns Zelmerlöw it was for the culmination of his recent collabs with The Agreement. Now he is back, this time singing with young Polish singer Ola Kędra. The track is Ola’s first song on the Warner Music label, with whom she signed recently. “Walk with me – Chodź ze mną”, which is as bilingual as its title implies, is a new version of the ballad that Måns made with Dami Im back in 2020.
Alexander Rybak – “Maybe”
This song, which was written 35 years ago by Alexander Rybak’s dad for his mom, has now been recorded by their son.
Carola – “Rör Vid Mig”
Swedish winner Carola returned with new music this month, releasing “Rör Vid Mig” (Touch Me). Read more about the song in our article:
