๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Eurovision hiring a Mood Manager for 2025

After the hosts of Eurovision 2025 were announced, the build up to this year’s contest is heating up, but there’s more to come as SRG SSR have announced they’re looking for a ‘mood manager’.

Swiss media are reporting some interesting job adverts appearing regarding Eurovision 2025; with the contest’s mood manager being the most striking. This role has likely came about due to the reactions over the atmosphere in the 2024 edition of the contest in Sweden. The self explanatory role centres around promoting a positive work atmosphere over April and May for the back of house aspect of the contest. The successful applicant will work with catering and admin to foster a positive environment.

All About Eurovision 2025

Switzerland will be hosting the 69th edition of the competition following Nemo’s historic win at Eurovision 2024 in Malmรถ. A few weeks after their win, Reto Peritz, and Moritz Stadler, was announced as the Executive Producers, with the other roles revealed in July 2024.

Basel, Bern & Biel/Bienne, Geneva, and Zurich submitted bids to host next year’s competition, with Basel and Geneva being shortlisted as the final two cities. After the shortlist, it was revealed that Basel will host Eurovision 2025, at St. Jakobshalle with the shows taking place on May 13, 15 and 17.

The visual identity for this year’s contest is “Unity Shapes Love”, which was developed by Art Director Artur Deyneuve, and was inspired by the Swiss tradition of direct democracy, with the message conveyed visually through the iconic Eurovision heart symbol.

Meanwhile, the tickets for Eurovision 2025 will be sold on ticketcorner.ch, and there will be a pre-registration process for the tickets, ran until January 10. The tickets will be available to purchase from January 29, 2025. One day after the Semi-Final allocation draw.
