Summer, or winter if you’re on the other side of the globe, has come to a close. And with the big festivals over, it is time for the music industry to fill those release schedules and kick into high gear again. There was a lot of music this month, a lot of it good, some odd, and some… well, not everything can be a winner. Once again I handpicked the best and biggest releases of the month for your ears to enjoy. This month’s round-up includes: lots of electric guitars, round-up favourites, and Mr. Worldwide!
If you want to jump straight to a specific section, here’s a list of pages, each filled to the brim with new music:

- Now That’s What I Call… The Extended Eurovision Universe (artists from NFs, JESC, intervals, and more) – Track and album of the month are here
The 2025 entries
The Вуса x Ziferblat – “Будь здоров (feat. Артем Пивоваров)”
Artem Pivoravov and The Byca return to the round-up, this time through a team-up with Ziferblat. “Будь здоров” (Be Healthy) is a slick piece of high pitched new wave. As the YouTube description says, this song is also notable for being the first The Вуса project that isn’t a largely comedic affair.
Edward Maya x Valentino Indy x Klavdia – “Back to Blue”
September meant going back to the studio for Klavdia for “Back to Blue”. The track sees her work with Finnish DJ/producer Valentino Indy and Romania’s Edward Maya, who is best known for the classic summer hit “Stereo Love“. As those collaborators imply, this song is an electronic banger that also takes some influences from more traditional Greek and Eastern Mediterranean sounds.
Red Sebastian – “Turn On The Lights” (LP)
After having built up a small catalogue of new music, Belgian singer Red Sebastian decided now was the time to release the second album of his career. “Turn On The Lights”. The 10 piece effort is dominated by the kind of energetic danceable pop you would expect based on his Eurovision entry “Strobe Lights”.. Besides said song and pre-release track “Slay“, we have music ranging from dramatic, cinematic opener “New Madonna”, the pulsing “Home With Me”, or piano ballad “Sunday”. The album closes on the extended, 4-and-a-half minute mix of “Strobe Lights”, which is a great little treat for fans of the Eurovision version.
Braaten – “Behind Blue Eyes (feat. EMMY)”, XanTz, EMMY – “Unspoken”
While Limp Bizkit still hold the title for the most misjudged cover of “Behind Blue Eyes”, this take by Braaten and EMMY definitely is the most baffling version of this classic from The Who I have ever heard.
Besides working with Braaten, EMMY also teamed up this month with Norwegian producer XanTz for some new music. “Unspoken” is an EDM track about a relationship that has fallen apart.
Azteck, Pitbull with Gabry Ponte – “Pretty Woman (All Around The World)”
Mr. Worldwide himself teams up with Gabry Ponte and Azteck for a new take on the Roy Orbison classic “Pretty Woman”. Just as with the cover above, I don’t know if anyone was asking for this version, but we have it now. Joining Pitbull and the “Tutta Italia” artist is Azteck, a British/Dutch producer and DJ.
Katarsis – “Paleisiu (Live)”
And there also was a lot of music from the class of 2025 that we already have articles on. Such as a new live version of Katarsis‘ “Paleisiu”, which you can read about here:
