🇫🇷 France confirms participation in Junior Eurovision 2022

France have confirmed they will be participating in Junior Eurovision 2022. The confirmation was revealed in an interview by Télé-Loisirs with Head of the French Delegation Alexandra Redde-Amiel about Eurovision 2022.

What we know about Junior Eurovision 2022

Junior Eurovision 2022 is set to be held in Armenia following Maléna’s win with Qami Qami in Paris. A number of countries have confirmed they will be participating. So far we have confirmation from the following countries:

It also has been confirmed that Wales will not be returning to Junior Eurovision in 2022.

France’s Junior Eurovision Journey

Frace made its debut in the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Thomas Pontier with the song “Si on voulait bien”, which placed 6th. Since then, took a break and returned in 2018 with Angelina with “Jamais Sans Toi” which placed 2nd. France have won once, in 2020, when Valentina won for France with the song “J”Imagine”. Last year they hosted the contest. Their entry was Enzo with “Tic Tac,” which finished 3rd on 187 points.
