As we get closer to this year’s Junior Eurovision, the promotional trail for some of the competing artists continue to take place. This time, it’s Poland’s 2022 representative who was on the promotional trail as Laura BÄ…czkiewicz performed “To The Moon” on the finale of The Voice of Poland.
First performance since the revamp of their entry
Laura’s appearance on the final of The Voice of Poland over the weekend saw her performing her entry for the first time since the revamp was released over a few weeks ago. On the performance, we see Laura standing on a platform, as she was accompanied by six backing dancers dancing around her as she performed the song.
Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022
The 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Yerevan, following Malena’s win in the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with “Qami Qami“, with the competition set to take place on the 11th of December. The competing countries in this year’s competition are as follows:

- Armenia – Nare
- France – Lissandro
- Georgia – Mariam Bigvava
- Ireland – Sophie Lennon
- Italy – Chanel Dilecta
- Kazakhstan – David Charlin
- Malta – Gaia Gambuzza
- The Netherlands – Luna
- North Macedonia – Lara, Irina & Jovan
- Poland – Laura Bączkiewicz
- Portugal – Nicolas Alves
- Serbia – Katarina Savić
- Spain – Carlos Higes
- Ukraine – Zlata Dziunka
- United Kingdom – Freya Skye

Poland’s Junior Eurovision journey
In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Å»urawik with the song “CoÅ› mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.
Their recent participation in 2021, saw them being represented by Sara James, with the song “Somebody” which placed 2nd overall, receiving 218 points from the jury and online vote combined.
