It’s been confirmed that 37 countries will be participating in the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which is due to take place in Malmö, Sweden. The number of confirmed countries for the upcoming edition of the competition has remained steady after 37 countries competed in Eurovision 2023.

Luxembourg are returning after last featuring in 1993. Whilst Romania’s participation is still uncertain. The EBU has mentioned:
Whilst Romania is currently not confirmed to compete next year, talks are continuing with TVR on their potential participation as well.

With the confirmation of the number of countries that will be participating in the upcoming competition, we also saw some of the participating countries, who have been silent about their participation in the upcoming edition until now. Details of the Semi-Final allocation and the Semi-Final in which the Automatic Qualifiers will be airing and voting will be revealed at a later date.
