🎤 38 countries to participate at Eurovision 2025

It’s been confirmed that 38 countries will be participating in the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which is due to take place in Basel, Switzerland. The number of confirmed countries for the upcoming edition of the competition has increased after 37 countries competed in Eurovision 2024.

Montenegro will be returning to the competition, with RTCG last comepting at 2022 in Turin.

With the confirmation of the number of countries that will be participating in the upcoming competition, we also saw some of the participating countries, who have been silent about their participation in the upcoming edition until now. Details of the Semi-Final allocation and the Semi-Final in which the Automatic Qualifiers will be airing and voting will be revealed at a later date.

All About Eurovision 2025

Switzerland will be hosting the 69th edition of the competition following Nemo’s historic win at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö. A few weeks after their win, Reto Peritz, and Moritz Stadler, was announced as the Executive Producers, with the other roles revealed in July 2024.

Basel, Bern & Biel/Bienne, Geneva, and Zurich submitted bids to host next year’s competition, with Basel and Geneva being shortlisted as the final two cities. After the shortlist, it was revealed that Basel will host Eurovision 2025, at St. Jakobshalle with the shows taking place on May 13, 15 and 17.
