Other highlights
There is way too much music released every month to cover in-depth, but here are some of the best and biggest new tracks from other Eurovision artists:
Rosa Linn – “Universe”
Rosa Linn’s “Universe” has gotten a bit poppier with her latest release. The pop ballad sees the Armenian sing about the longing for a universe where certain things in your life panned out differently. Her voice works great on this track, which was produced by Cirkut (Sam Smith, Ava Max, The Weeknd) and Connor McDonough (Anne-Marie, Joji, Mimi Webb), with Connor joining Rosa Linn and Riley McDonough, Ilsey Juber (Martin Garrix, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus), and Henry Walter (Katy Perry, Ava Max, Justin Timberlake) at the writing desk. In true Rosa Linn fashion, the song also has been released in a whole host of versions, most of which have been bundled into one pack on streaming services.
SIN+ – “Let It Go”
Sinplus are rebranding into… SIN+. They seem to have debuted their name change in December along with the music video for “Don’t Come Any Closer” (a song which released back in October). But don’t fret, as their signature rock style and swagger is still very much present in the excellent “Let It Go”.
We Are Domi – “Love Every Part Of It”
Czech 2022 representatives We Are Domi celebrate the importance of taking some time for yourself, by yourself on new track “Love Every Part Of It”. Musically, the song continues on the line they have shown on other recent releases, with the group going for a more pulled back and calmer sound.
Free Finga – “Beržas” (feat. Monika Liu)
Lithuanian artist Free Finga just released his new album “Plastika” (Plastic”). There’s only one collab on it, but hemade it count: it’s none other than the Monika Liu! “Beržas” (Birch) is a gentle, peaceful affair that fits right in with the retro, jazzy songs Monika Liu is largely known for. A very lovely track.
Blind Channel – “EXIT EMOTIONS” (LP)
Finnish rockers Blind Channel have released their follow-up to 2022’s “Lifestyle of the Sick & Dangerous“: “EXIT EMOTIONS”. This new, 12 track piece includes the RØRY collab “DIE ANOTHER DAY” and more. From album opener “WHERE’S THE EXIT” to the powerful “XOXO” (feat. From Ashes to New) to the pounding closer “ONE LAST TIME… AGAIN”, this is an album full of tracks for Blind Channel fans to enjoy.
Amandine Bourgeois – “MEUF” (LP)
France’s Amandine Bourgeois has finally released her long-awaited next album “MEUF”. The title is short for Mille Et Une Femmes (Thousand And One Women). Pre-released tracks such as “Un Jour” and “Je Veux Rêver” are included on this album. Musically and lyrically, is is filled to the brim with Amandine’s distinctive voice and songwriting.
LPS – “Počakaj me” (LP)
After releasing the title track last month, LPS now finally present their debut album “Počakaj me” (Wait for me). The album also includes the previously released tracks “Osem Korakov” and “Insomnia“. Both of which I already have praised into high heaven. Album of the month!
Citi Zēni – “Cits Līmenis”
The professional salad eaters from Latvia have released their highly anticipated second album “Cits Līmenis” (Next Level). 12 songs in Latvian await on this 37 minute long album, including previous release “Baļļīte” . Lots of fun and energy await in every song, which makes this album a treat for all Citi Zēni fans.
Benjamin Ingross – “Kite (with Olly Alexander)”
Benjamin Ingrosso has released an all-new version of his recent single “Kite”. This version has Olly Alexander joining him in the studio. Our very own “Kite” correspondent has written all about it in the article below:
