After being selected as Georgia’s Junior Eurovision 2022 representative, GPB has been preparing for their participation in this year’s contest. The preparations continue as the broadcaster has revealed that Mariam has filmed the music video for their entry.
Mariam’s entry to be released in due course
Ahead of the release of Mariam’s entry, GPB has shown a sneak peek of the music video where it is seen that Mariam is joined by four backing dancers. Further information about Mariam’s entry, such as the title of the song and the release date is yet to be confirmed by GPB.
Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022
The 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Yerevan, following Malena’s win in the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with “Qami Qami“, with the competition set to take place on the 11th of December. The competing countries in this year’s competition are as follows:

- France – Lissandro

- Ireland – Sophie Lennon
- Italy
- Kazakhstan – David Charlin
- Malta – Gaia Gambuzza

- Spain – Carlos Higes

Georgia’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2007, Georgia made its debut in the competition with Mariam Romelashvili, and the song “Odelia Ranuni” (แแแแแแ แ แแแฃแแ). Since their debut, Georgia has participated in Junior Eurovision 15 times, and has won the competition 3 times (2008, 2011, and 2016).
Georgia’s recent participation saw them being represented by Niko Kajaia who represented them with the song “Let’s Count The Smiles” which managed to place 4th overall, after receiving 163 points from the juries, and the online voters combined.
